VALDOSTA — Tift County track and field picked up where it left off in its quad meet at the Wildcat Invitational last Saturday.

Liam Gray won discus at 121’1” and Ethan Jackson was second. Tift County Track and Field’s Twitter said Gray’s toss was a new personal record (PR). Cade Anders threw 46’6” to take first in shot put.

Caitlyn Burgess led the Lady Devils to victory in the high jump, clearing 5’10”.

Tift earned second place in pole vault with Amarion Nelson. KaLiyah Barber was second in the 100 and fourth in the 300.

Blair Golden was third in the 1,600. Deyonte Dean and Ivan White were third and fourth, respectively, in the high jump. Bernard Tindall was fourth in triple jump.

Steven Croft was third in pole vault.

Third place went to Ava Wilson in the 3,200 and in the pole vault. She cleared 7 feet in the latter, a personal record. Bailee Williams contributed third place in the shot put.
