KINGSLAND — Tift County swim teams took a double victory Saturday at the Camden Winter Invitational.
The Lady Devils had more points than their opponents combined at 585. The boys’ final standings were not determined until the final race, with Tift edging host Camden County, 437-433.
Tift started the day with two consecutive first places, with the boys and girls sweeping the 200-yard medley relay. Beau Bengston, Tucker Dowdy, Hayden Roberts and Ian Mobley won by 29 seconds in their event, with a time of 1:27. Raegin Walker, Ainsley Toews, Ava Wilson and Eden Troxell won in a much closer margin — three seconds — finishing in 2:07.
After Mobley finished second in the 200 freestyle, the Swim Devils won the next three races.
Troxell blew by the competition in the 200 freestyle while Roberts and Toews each took the 200 individual medley.
Other Tift individual wins came in the 100 butterfly (a sweep by Bengston and Wilson), the 500 freestyle (Troxell), the 100 backstroke (Bengston and Walker) and the 100 breaststroke (Toews). The team continued their run of success in relays. Bengston, Dowdy, Mobley and Roberts took the 200 freestyle as did Walker, Troxell, Wilson and Toews. In the last event, Paige Hill, Juliana Hooks, Hannah Walker and Maddie Perrin were winners in the 400 freestyle.

Girls 50 freestyle: Lauralee Bennett (4th), Larger (7th), Hill (8th), Hooks (9th), Bailee Williams (10th), Lauren Brey (11th) and Ausha Hardy (14th).
Boys 100 butterfly: Roberts (2nd).
Girls 100 butterfly: Raegin Walker (2nd).
Boys 100 freestyle: Aaron Patel (6th).
Girls 100 freestyle: Hill (2nd), Bennett (3rd), Hannah Walker (4th), Hooks (5th), Williams (6th) and Hardy (9th).
Boys 500 freestyle: Stalnaker (3rd) and Brey (4th).
Girls 200 freestyle relay: Hooks, Hill, Hannah Walker and Perrin (3rd) and Bennett, Brey, Larger and Williams (5th).
Boys 100 backstroke: Dowdy (2nd), Stalnaker (4th) and Patel (5th).
Girls 100 backstroke: WIlson (3rd) and Brey (6th).
Boys 100 breaststroke: Carpenter (3rd) and Powell (4th).
