Joseph Allen Day



TIFTON -- Joseph Allen Day, 61, of Tifton, died Monday, Dec. 6, 2004 at Tift Regional Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Tift Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Terrell Roberts officiating.

Pallbearers will be Joe Fletcher Jr., Hugh Fletcher, Jamie Day, Shane McKee, John Millard, LaRue McCurdy and Rob Powell.

Mr. Day was born April 2, 1943 in Irwin County. He was the son of Joe Day of Chula and the late Juanita Wilson Day. He was also preceded in death by one brother, Mack Day, who died in 1991.

He was a farmer and a member of Adel Church of Christ.

Mr. Day is survived by one daughter, Ann Marie Hollingsworth of Tifton; two brothers, Don W. Day of Chula and Charles L. Day of Marietta; and two sisters, Gloria Fletcher of Lake Seminole and Martha Sklany of Tifton.
