TIFTON – Tift County experienced no changes in the number of reported COVID-19 cases Wednesday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County has reported 94 deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 29 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
Tift County has reported 3,401 cases since the pandemic began last year, according to the GDPH, and 1,392 antigen cases – the only increase reported Wednesday with two new cases; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 412 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
