TIFTON – Tift County has reported one COVID-19-related death in the past two days, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health Friday.
Tift County has reported 91 deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 27 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
Tift County has reported 3,332 cases, up five since Wednesday, since the pandemic began last year, according to the GDPH, and 1,287 antigen cases – or six new antigen cases; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 401 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
