TIFTON – Tift County has reported a COVID-19-related death and several virus cases recently, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County has reported 102 COVID-19-related deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 31 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
Tift County has reported 3,554 cases since the pandemic began last year, according to the GDPH, and 1,591 antigen cases, which is 100-plus more than what was reported a few weeks ago; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 428 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
