TIFTON – Tift County reported a COVID-19-related death and 24 new cases Tuesday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County has reported 74 deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 12 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
Tift County has reported 3,078 cases since the pandemic began earlier this year, according to the GDPH, and 949 antigen cases – an increase of 27 since Monday; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 348 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
