TIFTON – Tift County has reported two COVID-19-related deaths during the past week, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.

Tift County has reported 101 COVID-19-related deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 29 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
Tift County has reported 3,475 cases since the pandemic began last year, which is three higher than the start of the week, according to the GDPH, and 1,475 antigen cases; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 419 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
