TIFTON – Tift County reported two COVID-19-related deaths Wednesday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County has reported five virus-related deaths since Sunday, according to the GDPH.
Tift County has reported 82 deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 12 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
Tift County reported three new virus cases Wednesday, with 3,162 cases reported since the pandemic began earlier this year, according to the GDPH, and 1,086 antigen cases – or 26 new antigen cases; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 366 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
