TIFTON – Tift County reported six COVID-19 cases and no related deaths during the weekend, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County has reported 90 deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 24 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
Tift County has reported 3,317 cases since the pandemic began last year, according to the GDPH, and 1,275 antigen cases – or 12 new antigen cases during the weekend; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 397 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
