TIFTON – Tift County reported one confirmed COVID-19 case Tuesday, marking the first changes in the county's virus status in nearly a week, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County has reported 95 deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 29 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
Tift County reported 3,402 cases since the pandemic began last year, according to the GDPH, and 1,408 antigen cases – seven new cases since early in the week; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 412 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
