TIFTON – Tift County reported one COVID-19-related death Thursday, according to the Georgia Department of Public Health.
Tift County has reported 95 deaths since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH. The county records 29 probable COVID-19-related deaths.
For the third day, Tift County has reported 3,401 cases since the pandemic began last year, according to the GDPH, and 1,394 antigen cases – two new cases since the previous day; antigen cases are results from rapid virus tests.
The county has reported 412 Tift residents have been hospitalized because of the coronavirus since the start of the pandemic, according to the GDPH.
