TIFTON — The National Weather service is warning of possible heavy rain this weekend and into Monday.
Through Monday, Tift County could see up to 2.5 inches of rain, according to an NWS briefing.
This comes after weeks of barely a drop in south Georgia
“The heaviest rain is forecast to fall between 2 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day,” according to an NWS briefing.
The heaviest rain is expected to fall in northwest Florida, which is scheduled for a flash flood watch.
