Thomas R. Daniels
TIFTON -- Thomas Rowell Daniels, 61, of Tifton, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Tift Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors. The Rev. Olin Hamlin and the Rev. Eddie Allen will officiate. Burial will follow at Zion Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Vernon Willis, Charles Swain, Buddy Coarsey, Perry Conger, Randall Willis and Thomas Hunt.
Honorary pallbearers will be the staff of Jones Chrysler-Dodge, Tiftarea Rescue Squad, Tiftarea Auto Club and Mr. and Mrs. R. L. Barfield.
Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Zion Hope Baptist Church Building Fund.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors, Tiftarea Chapel.
Born Dec. 26, 1940, in Tifton, Mr. Daniels was the son of Hattie L. Daniels of Tifton and the late R. R. "Buck" Daniels.
Formerly employed with Barfield Furniture, he was a salesman for Jones Chrysler-Dodge and was a member of Zion Hope Baptist Church, Tiftarea Volunteer Rescue Squad, Tiftarea Auto Club and the Georgia Army National Guard.
Mr. Daniels was a lifetime resident of Tifton.
Along with his mother, he is survived by his wife, Sandra Golden Daniels of Tifton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rowell and Beth Daniels of Chapel Hill, S.C., and Jeffrey and Stephanie Daniels of Thomson; one daughter, Amy Daniels of Sycamore; one sister, Evelyn Daniels Perrow of Lynchburg, Va.; and one grandchild, Mackenzie Daniels of Thomson.
Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors, Tiftarea Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
Bobby L. Wilson
TIFTON -- Bobby L. Wilson, 58, of Tifton, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Chapel Bowen-Donaldson. The Rev. Terrell Roberts and the Rev. Bobby Stone will officiate. Burial will follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Hand, John Gurley, J. D. Griffin, Glen Hickman, David Musselwhite and Tommy Stone.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born May 2, 1943, in Tifton, Mr. Wilson was the son of Hobert Wilson and Hattie Yates Wilson, both deceased.
He was retired from Tifton Aluminum and was a member of Tift Avenue Baptist Church.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Collins Wilson of Tifton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Bruce and Angie Wilson of Blakely and Jeffrey Wilson of Tifton; four brothers, Raymond Wilson of Dublin, Emerson Wilson of Omega and Donald Wilson of Norman Park; and six sisters, Emogene Burdett of Ty Ty, Lavern Willis and Virginia Beasley, both of Tifton, Doris Casey of Ty Ty, Mary Williams of Moultrie and Carolyn Bates of Dawson.
Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals is in charge of arrangements.
Jesse Lee Godwin, 81, of Nashville, died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today at the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home, burial at Westview Cemetery.
