TIFTON — The Wiregrass Farmers Market and the 41 South Farmers Market are planning on opening Saturday, May 23.
The Wiregrass Farmers Market, which is usually held at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture, will be set up at The Local at the Lankford from 9 a.m. until noon, according to Downtown Development Authority Director Abbey McLaren.
The 41 South Farmers Market, located at 2505 Main St. S., will be open from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., according to organizer M. Jay Hall.
He said that the market is going to be “grab and go” and that TNT Food Truck will be on site as well.
Attendees are asked to wear masks and practice social distancing while at the markets.
