February beauty spot winner goes to the Dukes residence

The Dukes residence was named the February Beauty Spot winner.

TIFTON – The Dukes are the February winners in the monthly Beauty Spot competition. 

The Dukes were nominated by Ron Lawhon.

Keep Tift Beautiful describes itself as an organization that works to ensure the county's appearance stays spectacular.

Community service projects include adopt-a-mile where volunteers pick up trash along streets and KTB collects Christmas trees after the holiday season to turn into mulch for county use.  

Keep Tift Beautiful selects a house each month that has a beautiful appearance. Each month, it decides a winner and it honors the family with recognition for keeping their property well maintained and nice looking. 

Each monthly residential winner is entered into a raffle at the end of the year for a $50 gift certificate to Bob's Nursery.
