NASHVILLE — AgGeorgia Farm Credit announced the hiring of Zach Forshee as relationship manager in the Nashville Office.
A native of Tift County, Forshee is a graduate of Valdosta State University where he received a bachelor of science degree in public administration, Ag Georgia representatives said in a statement.
He has previous business experience and also was a 2019 AgGeorgia intern, working in several of the southern offices and becoming familiar with the member borrowers, loan portfolios and policies of the Association.
Forshee said he is looking forward to using his experience to meet the agricultural financing needs of the residents serviced by the Nashville Branch in Berrien, Cook and Lanier counties.
AgGeorgia Farm Credit is an agricultural lending cooperative owned by more than 4,500 member-borrowers, "proud to have been helping Georgia grow for generations," representatives said.
"AgGeorgia provides farm loans for land, equipment, livestock and production; rural home mortgages, and services such as crop insurance and leasing. AgGeorgia Farm Credit has 20 branches serving 79 counties in Georgia. It is part of the national Farm Credit System, a network of financial cooperatives established in 1916 to provide a dependable source of credit to farmers and rural America."
