Upward Basketball

TIFTON — Registration is under way for Upward Basketball and cheerleading, which promotes character and fun for every child. Children who participate will receive a special recognition award after every game and will have the opportunity to develop new friendships. Registration is $50 per child after Oct. 19. ELDORADO — Mount Sinai Church, Highway 41 South, Eldorado, will celebrate its 109th church anniversary through Sunday. There will be speakers at 7:30 tonight and the Rev. Bryan from Adel will be the guest speaker at 3 p.m. Sunday.

Annual session

TIFTON — The 137th annual session of the Fowltown Missionary Baptist Association and the 105th annual session of the Women’s Auxiliary will present “The Heavenly Vision: The Mission of the Church” through Saturday at Shiloh Baptist Church, 2113 Southern Ave. Registration, seminars, evening worship and late night worship will be held tonight with the annual prayer breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. today followed by an educational sermon and the Mamie Daniel Scholarship Banquet at 6:30 p.m. at the Leroy Rogers Senior Citizens Center.
