TIFTON — The Downtown Farmers' Market is open every Saturday morning through July from 8 to 11 a.m. at the train museum platform, corner of Tift and Third. Local produce, preserves, baked goods, plants, traditional crafts and a children's activity are available. First Thursday markets, from 4 to 7 p.m., continue through the summer as well. Class will cover the organic philosophy, soil building, choosing seed and plants, pest management and the organic movement in Georgia. TIFTON — The Tifton Lions Club will hold its annual installation and awards banquet at 6:30 p.m. today at the Cypress Ridge Clubhouse. There will be no noon meeting that day.
