Death notices for March 7

Ola Mae Everson, 81, of Tifton died at her residence March 4, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Visitation will be held from 7 until 8 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Frank and Solomon Nixon Funeral Home. Frank and Solomon Nixon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Daisy Barnes of Tifton died March 4, 2013 at Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Frank and Solomon Nixon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

William Alvin Boyd Sr., 86, of Crescent City, Fla. died March 6, 2013 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Baker Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday. He is survived by his children, William Boyd Jr. of Crescent City, Fla., Lisa Dorsey and Karen Allegood, both of Norman Park. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Baker Funeral Home.

Annie Rose Shiggs, 84, of Omega died March 6, 2013 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Southview Mortuary Inc. Professional care and services are entrusted to Southview Mortuary, Inc.
