Peggy Luke Webb

TIFTON — Peggy Sue Luke Webb, 45, of Tifton, died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at the Medical Center of Central Georgia, Macon. Memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m., Thursday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Rev. Darrell Hampton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 until 7:30 p.m. and also on Thursday at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Ms. Webb was born Nov. 22, 1965, in Pinellas Park, Fla., to Winston Luke and Sue Ellen Parker Watson, both of whom survive and reside in Tifton.

Ms. Webb, a lifetime resident of Tifton, was the owner of New Looks Hair Salon in Tifton. She enjoyed traveling, Florida State University football, her son’s baseball games, hunting, going out with her friends and talking on the phone. She collected crosses and loved Western items, Marilyn Monroe and carpentry work. She also loved animals, especially cats and dogs. Peggy was a kind and unselfish person, so much so that the family honored her wish of being an organ donor.  Ms. Webb was a Christian.

In addition to her parents, Peggy is survived by one daughter, Danielle Godwin of Tifton; one son, Blake Webb of Tifton; her step-father, Tony Watson of Tifton; two brothers, Roy Lee Luke and Wesley W. Luke, both of Tifton; and several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Peggy’s family to help with expenses.

You may sign the guest registry at www.albritton-beaumontfuneralhomecom. Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors is in charge of arrangements.
