Minnie M. Perez

TY TY — Minnie M. Perez, 57, of Ty Ty died Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors with Father Justin Ferguson officiating. Interment will follow at Oakridge Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Perez was born March 28, 1956 in Weslaco, Texas to the late Sergio and Francisca Cruz Marin. She was also preceded in death by a son Gilbert Perez Jr. She was a retired social worker for the Tift County Health Department after 25 years of service. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, sewing, shopping, music and dancing. She was always willing to help anyone in need and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Mrs. Perez is survived by her husband, Gilbert R. Perez of Ty Ty; a daughter and son-in-law, Rita Perez Taylor and husband Will; a son and his fiancé, Vincent Adam Perez and Kacey Touchton of Tifton; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Jesse Marin of Dallas, Texas, Ricky and Elsie Marin of Bellingham, Wash., Sergio and Janie Marin of Weslaco, Texas, Tony Marin of Dallas, Texas and Paul and Esmer Marin of Edcouch, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Rosie and Armando Espinoza of Weslaco, Texas, Annabel and Jon Eberle of Dallas, Texas, Diane and Jaime Rodriguez of Ty Ty and Dayvia Marin of Tifton; four grandchildren, Zach Perez, Helena Cayden Finch, Izaiah Dominik Perez and William Cruz Taylor; and numerous nieces and nephews.
