Cheryl Lynn Barnes Moseley


Cheryl Lynn Barnes Moseley, 55,  of Blakely passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at her residence. Funeral service were held Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Blakely with the Rev. Dwight Bishop and the Rev. Mac Enfinger officiating. Burial followed at Blakely Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Greg McFay, Leigh McFay, Eric Selman, Steve Dixon, Cliff Bush and Michael Brownlee. 

Cheryl was born in Tifton Sept. 29, 1958 to Harold Henry and Lucille Stones Barnes of Tifton. She was a member of  First United Methodist Church and was employed as a loan administrator for Southwest Georgia Farm Credit in Bainbridge.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her husband, John Fulton Moseley Jr. of Blakely; two daughters, Amanda Dobbins and fiance’  Clay Willis  of Blakely and Mahannah Patterson and husband Mitchell of Perry; three sons, John F. Mosely III and wife Haley, William Matthew Moseley and wife Laura, Joseph Dalton Moseley and wife Korie all of Blakely; sister, Debora Barnes Hall and husband Carl of Tifton and brother, Harold Rickey Barnes and wife Mary Shann of Gainesville;  six grandchildren. Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
