Rants & Raves - March 12

Want to know where your children can have a good time and learn something in a clean environment? Want to relax and browse in areas of your particular interest? Go to the Tifton Library. Beautiful building and friendly helpful staff make for a wonderful experience.
At age 89 I went to get my driver's license renewed I carried my birth certificate, my Social Security card, my voter registration card and two pieces of mail with my name and address on it. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. It's all a matter of being prepared. My license was renewed for five years.
I want to give a huge rave to Tara at Therapeutic Massage for not only a superb back massage but also for being so kind to me  from the moment i walked in the door. Thank you Tara, and God bless you.
A big thank you goes out to Patrick Kunes and Kyle Rhodes for taking the lead in the Rhythm & Ribs BBQ Festival. I am sure there dozen of others involved and we are so thankful for there participation. But these gentlemen deserve a word of Thanks for pulling it together this year.
Go Blue Devils basketball! A job well done. I was so happy to be there with family and friends to cheer you all to victory! On another note, I would also like to give a shout out to Precious Melton. I thought I was listening to the original song until I looked down and saw it was her singing. Very proud to be a Tift County citizen.
I would like to send a rave out to officers Eddie Bailey and Torie Adams that work at the library on Thursday nights.  They do a good job keeping the place safe and making sure the people act right.
