Sun Ae Kim Pitts

TIFTON — Sun Ae Kim Pitts, 70, of Tifton died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at her residence. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. The Rev. Payne Pitts will officiate with burial to follow at Tift Memorial Gardens.

Brock Alsobrook, Devun Pitts, Chandler Pitts, Blake Lott, Allen Pate and Chance Jackson will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Ms. Pitts was born on April 10, 1943 in Taegue, Korea and was the daughter of Chatsu Kim and Sun Ae Kim, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by the father of her children, Billy Joe Pitts. She was retired from Queen Carpet and was a member of Carpenter Road Church of God.

Ms. Pitts is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Joe Pitts of Tifton, David and Lain Pitts of Tifton and Galvin Kim of Korea; two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Chris Manaugh and Michelle and David Heath, all of Tifton; two sisters, Toiga Kim and Opa Kim, both of Seoul, Korea; and nine grandchildren, Intuk Kim, Brock Alsobrook, Ashley Alsobrook, Unjungee Kim, Payne Pitts, Devun Pitts, Bailey Pitts, Chandler Pitts and Christina Manaugh.

Services for the Pitts family are under the care and direction of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
