Mary Alice Jones

NASHVILLE —  Mary Alice Jones, 70, of Nashville, died Sunday May 12, 2013 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Warner Guthrie officiating. Interment will follow at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the hour of services.

She was born April 7, 1943 in Berrien County to the late James Lester Warren and Edith May. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Stephen Wells and a brother, James Lester "Buddy" Warren II.

She is survived by three daughters, Kay Brock of Tifton, Lucinda Lee Tucker of Nashville, and Vicki Ann Rimes of Lebanon, Tenn.; mother, Edith May Fountain of Nashville; four grandchildren, Robbie Browning of Nashville, Bryan Jones of Athens, Tenn., Amanda Millwood of Tifton, and Jennifer Tucker Cross of Nashville;  and seven great-grandchildren. Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
