Rants & Raves - June 17

Since when is kicking a man in the groin an acceptable arrest procedure?
Why do some people feel it's OK to take a small dog into a store while shopping or even worse into a fast food restaurant?  These pets may be like family to you but other shoppers and diners may not feel the same.   Please be considerate of others and leave your dog at home.
If you drive a white pick-up and lost a tablet Friday afternoon, I saw it fall off your truck when you turned onto Highway 82 in Ty Ty. By the time I circled around to retrieve it, your tablet had been run over and was a total loss. Sorry, I tried.
For all y'all who complain about folks on food stamps, shouldn't you really focus on Granny and Grandpa's free trips to the doctor instead?  The U.S. government has spent 3785 percent more on Medicare than on welfare this fiscal year.
Not only is the World Cup the most popular sporting event in the world, it is more popular in the United States than NASCAR. It’s like Bob Dylan sang: "The times they are a-Changin'."
I'm paying more property taxes that I should be because some people and corporations are paying less than they should or none at all.  For example,  a truck sales place on U.S. 82 West pays no property tax and that is some high priced property out there. It just isn't fair and unless you rich people change your ways, there is going to be a revolution.
