TIFTON — Walter Jackson, owner of Community Mortuary LLC, donated a check to help sponsor 25 underprivileged local kids to attend summer basketball camps, hosted by head boys basketball coach Dr. Eric Holland and his coaches. This will be their fifth year offering the camps. He said they do mentoring programs through the camps and work with the kids' fathers on what they can do not only athletically, but also from an academic standpoint to help their child succeed. Holland said Jackson's contribution will sponsor camps for June and July. Pictured, from left, are Jackson and Holland.
