Larry Dean Football and Cheer Camp

TIFTON — Students from 3rd through 8th grade are invited to participate in the second annual Larry Dean Football and Cheer Camp, which is coming in June.

The camp takes place June 28 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and will be held at Eighth Street Middle School. It will focus on skills development. Participants are asked to bring sneakers or cleats, shorts, a T-shirt and a great attitude.

Joining Dean at the camp will be his Minnesota Viking teammates Mistral Raymond, Jasper Brinkley and Gerald Hodges; Carolina Panthers Joe Webb and Edmund Kugbila; former Valdosta State players Ryan Branch, DeMario Jones and DeMarcus Flanagan; and former Tift County Blue Devils James Carter, Kaream Hess and Josh Allen.

At the conclusion of the camp, there will be an autograph session open to the public where you can meet and greet the players. You may be able to get one item signed, as well.

Registration forms must be returned to the student's school by May 23 or The Tifton Gazette by June 10 in order for campers to receive a T-shirt. Late registration takes place June 28.

Contact Larry Dean Sr. or Jennifer Dean at jkdean@tiftschools.com for details.
