Zeno Haywood Ball

TIFTON — Zeno Haywood Ball, 52 of Tifton, died Sunday, April 20, 2014, at his residence after a lengthy illness. Services will be held at 3 p.m. today in the chapel of Albritton - Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Rev. Tommy Sumner and the Rev. Bill Turnmire officiating. Interment will follow at Union Grove Church of God cemetery.

Zeno was born November 2, 1961 in Tifton. He was a 1979 graduate of Tift County High School. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being an avid outdoorsman. He worked in the outdoor advertising sign business.

He is survived by his parents, Edward Lee and Doris Jinright Ball Jr. of Tifton. Along with his parents he is survived by his two sons, Kenneth Joel "Joey" Ball and Brek Allen "Tully" Ball both of Alaska; two brothers, Edward "Eddie" Lee Ball III of Tifton and Jessie Spires of Murfreesboro, Tenn.;  three sisters, Angela and Frederick Zajicek of Tifton,  Zena B. and David Norman of Tifton, and Michelle Spires Capps of Dade City, Fla.; one grandchild, Gauge Ball of Alaska;  three nieces, Leah and Timothy Childers of Tifton, Brandi Bobo of Dade City, Fla. and Taryn Spires of Blackshear; four  nephews, David Lee "Bud" Norman and Matthew Norman, both of Tifton, Robert Bobo of Dade City, Fla. and Jessie Spires III of Blackshear; one great-niece, Alexis Leanne Walker of Tifton and several other nieces and nephews from Tampa, Fla. and Murfreesboro, Tenn.; long-time special friends, Karen Hall and her children Kara and Layne Wiggins, Kyle and Jessica Blount all of  Abbeville, Ala. and Kim Blount of Montgomery, Ala.
