Sayles named facility administrator at Southern Care Assisted Living

Frank Sayles Jr., has been named facility administrator of Southern Care Assisted Living of Tifton, one of the region’s premiere senior communities and only licensed assisted living facility.

“We are thrilled to have Frank joining the team at Southern Care Assisted Living. The families in the Tifton area who look to Southern Care for their loved ones’ well-being will find a dedicated leader and true friend in Frank,” said Mike Pigg, vice president of Finance and regional vice president of Operations at Legacy Senior Services LLC.

Sayles serves as vice chairman of the Tift County Public Library Foundation, secretary of the Tift County Foundation for Educational Excellence, immediate past president of the Tifton Rotary Club, current board member and former president of the United Way of South Central Georgia, former president of the Tiftarea YMCA, former secretary of the Tifton Merchants Association and former community development chairman of the Tifton-Tift County Chamber of Commerce.

A resident of Tifton for 13 years, Sayles attends First United Methodist Church. The former publisher and advertising director of The Tifton Gazette, Sayles also served as president of the Georgia Press Association and as a board member of the Georgia Press Education Foundation. A certified management trainer, Sayles has conducted seminars throughout the United States and Canada and has assisted with Dale Carnegie courses in South Georgia.

Sayles and his family fell in love with the Southern Care community years ago, when his late mother-in-law, Eleanor Jerdan, was a resident. The Sayles family still remembers Southern Care’s warm, personal atmosphere and high quality care, and are grateful for their loved one's five happy and comfortable years there.

Located in the beautiful countryside of Tifton, Southern Care Assisted Living offers a full range of assisted living and Alzheimer’s care services in a safe, attentive and homelike atmosphere. Southern Care is committed to serving the greatest generation with honor, respect, faith and integrity. For more information, visit southerncare.net.
