NASHVILLE — Clarence Thomas Sr., of Nashville formerly of Dublin died Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2014 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Black and Son Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at St. James Cemetery in Nashville. The Rev. Clarence Thomas Jr. will officiate. Visitation will be held from 5 until 6 p.m. today at Black and Son Funeral Home Chapel. Survivors include his wife, Jean Thomas of Nashville; sons, the Rev. Clarence Thomas Jr. of Ailey, Zayne Thomas, Victor Bell and Jimmy Baker, all of New Haven, Conn. and Dexter Bell of Nashville; daughter, Min. Sylvia Baker Lovingood of Fayetteville; siblings, Charlie Thomas; sisters, Irene Moore, Juanita Payne, Maggie Wicker, Charlie Mae Arnold and Annette Byrd. Black and Son Funeral Home, Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
