Ralph Lee Parker

SYLVESTER — Ralph Lee Parker, 65, of Sylvester died Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014, at his residence. He was cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.

Mr. Parker was born June 12, 1948 in Wilmington, Del. to the late Richard Neal and Olive Ann Harris Parker. He had lived in Worth County since 1981, moving here from Dougherty County. He was retired from Master Craft Industrial Engineering after 18 years of service. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was the former quartermaster of the William F. Sikes V.F.W. Post 4825. Mr. Parker was a workaholic but he did take time to enjoy golfing, music and dancing.

Survivors include his brothers, Thomas A. Parker of Mount Pleasant, S.C., Gary J. Parker of Allentown, Pa., James W. Parker of Newark, Del. and Walter E. Parker of Newark, Del.; a sister, Debra P. Taylor of Franklin, Ohio.; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Whisman of Sylvester; a granddaughter, Sheena Whisman-Deal (Troy) of Sylvester; and great-grandchildren, Mason and Kason Deal.
