TIFTON — The Emory University Eagles had the addition of a Panther to their future baseball roster Wednesday morning when Greer Howard signed with the school. Howard was joined by his parents, Drew and Kaylar, and Tiftarea's baseball coach Brad Porter at the table. A statement by Emory's coach, Mike Twardoski, said "We are very excited to have a player like Greer come and join our baseball team. Not only will be he an asset on the field, but I have all the confidence that he will be very successful in the classroom. Our teams have always thrived on character players and Greer will hold that torch for those players."
