Police report for August 29

TIFTON POLICE DEPT.

Devin Stefan Bing, 26, 211 Pine Bluff Road, Lot 17, Albany, was charged Tuesday with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Marty Lee Eyer, 33, 417 W. 11th St., Sycamore, was charged Tuesday with driving without a license on his person.

Myeisha Denise Ford, 17, 517 E. 18th St., was charged Monday with unwanted person on the premises of another.

Janet Maria Hill, 50, 2222 Davis Ave., was charged Tuesday with theft by shoplifting.

Tiffany Wynett Lane, 30, 712 Gordon St., Ashburn, was charged Tuesday with theft by shoplifting.

Antwan Lakey Mathis, 24, 519 Robinson Ave., Albany, was charged Tuesday with theft by shoplifting.

Anish Girish Patel, 33, 41 Palmar Drive, Ingles, Fla., was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended or revoked license, a safety restraint violation and speeding.

Queentora Cheyney Wood, 23, 109 Orchard Hill Drive, Ashburn, was charged Tuesday with theft by shoplifting.

TIFT CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Sheldon Bernard Batts, 45, 320 E. Golden Road, Lot 1, was charged Monday with theft by taking.

James Edward Conger, 50, 1423 Parker Chapel Road, was charged Tuesday with DUI/alcohol refusal, missing or inoperative tail/tag lights and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

David Johnson Goodman, 20, 458 Oak Ridge Road, Lot 5, was charged Tuesday with giving a false name, address or birth date to a law enforcement officer.

James Lewis Milton Jr., 37, 1302 S. Park Ave., was charged Monday with abandonment of dependent child support.

Justin Alexander Robbins, 24, 5175 Benjamin Trail, Ellenwood, was charged Sunday with driving with a suspended or revoked license and speeding.

Christopher Brandon Rockwood, 24, 109 Shorter St., Ty Ty, was charged Monday with a probation violation.

Ana Maria Rodriguez, 34, 11 Tanner Lane, was charged Saturday with defective/obstructed windshields, failure to maintain lane and driving without a license.

Mariah Montine Slaughter, 19, 285 Stan Fill Road, Cairo, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Edson Rivera Torres, 17, 101 Blake Road, Hopkins, Minn., was charged Sunday with driving with an expired license and speeding.

Kenyattes Dwan Turner, 30, 71 Pecan St., was charged Monday with a probation violation.

Gladys Wallace, 46, 157-A New St., Omega, was charged Sunday with an expired tag and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Sedrickious Dwaintavious Williams, 25, 3003 15th Ave., Valley, was charged Friday with driving with a suspended or revoked license and driving without a valid tag/license.

    LEOs and first responders honored at banquet

    A room full of local law enforcement and first responders were honored Thursday night by the Tifton Elks Lodge at their annual Public Safety Officer Appreciation and Awards Banquet for their service in the community.
    Prior to the awards being given out, Louise Spradley, who organized the banquet, welcomed everyone, and the invocation and pledge were led by the Tift County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard.
