Herman William Parramore Jr.

CLEVELAND — Herman William Parramore Jr., 77, of Cleveland died Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at North East Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the sanctuary of Mount Yonah Baptist Church, Cleveland. Burial will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Valdosta. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. today at Mount Yonah Baptist Church, 882 Asbestos Road, Cleveland, GA 30528.

Born in Valdosta GA, July 13, 1935, he was the son of the late Herman William Parramore Sr. and Elizabeth Terrell Parramore.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Cao Parramore of Cleveland; children: Cyndi Parramore Hungerford of Atlanta; Dea Cox of Greenville, S.C.; Alice Clements (Frank) of Rome; Pete Parramore (Natalie) of Greenwood, S.C.: two sisters, Ada Alice Dolan (Beverly) of Charlotte, N.C. and Elizabeth “Itty Bitty” Wisenbaker (Sonny) of Dahlonega; and eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Jane Parramore.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of Herman Parramore to the Jane Parramore Nursing School Scholarship, c/o Valdosta State University Foundation, 1506 N. Patterson St. Valdosta, GA 31602.

Barrett Funeral Home, Cleveland is in charge of arrangements.
