Marvin Loyd “Pete” Aultman

SYLVESTER — Marvin Loyd “Pete” Aultman, 74, of Sylvester died Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, at Willson Hospice House. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 3, 2014, at Banks Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. The Revs. Jerry Cooper and Richard McNair will officiate.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 tonight at Banks Funeral Home.

Mr. Aultman was born on July 5, 1939 to Joseph Nelson and Martha Jane Young Aultman in Oakfield. He was a lifelong resident of Worth County. He was retired from Proctor & Gamble and had served in the United States Army. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Watson Aultman of Sylvester; a son, Alex Aultman (Michelle) of Tifton; a daughter, Dana Davis (Bradford) of Marietta; a brother, George C. Aultman (Faye) of Albany; a sister, Geneva A. Singleton of Sylvester; grandchildren, Grant and Bella Davis of Marietta; sisters-in-law, ImaJean Walters of Ashburn and Marie Youngblood of Albany; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Aultman was preceded in death by his daughter, Melissa Jane Aultman.
