Jerry Wade Hufstetler

PINETTA, FLORIDA — Jerry W. Hufstetler, 69, of Pinetta, Fla., died Friday, April 5, 2013, in Peach County. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors in Tifton, with Mr. Larry Lynch officiating. The family will receive friends at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors one hour prior to the service.

Mr. Hufstetler was born January 25, 1944, in Worth County, to the late Wilson and Elizabeth McGuire Hufstetler. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Hufstetler worked as a truck driver for Yellow Roadway Corporation for more than 30 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who enjoyed being outside taking care of his property and vehicles. He also enjoyed going to flea markets.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy Holt Hufstetler of Pinetta, Fla.; daughter, Angela Creel of Valdosta; granddaughter and husband, Ashley and Greg Nettles of Blackshear; sisters and brothers-in-law, Roslynn and Ray Page of Sycamore and Audrey and Terrell Nelson of Dade City, Fla.; as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and many good friends.
