ABBEVILLE — Mount Zion Baptist Church, 7474 US 129 South, will hold a gospel sing at 11 a.m. Feb. 23. The featured group will be In His Name of Fitzgerald. Everyone is invited to attend.
Black History
TIFTON — Great Purpose and Destiny Deliverance Ministries Inc. wil host a black history program Feb. 23 at 4 p.m. The service will honor local men and women in Tift County's black community. Call 326-6687 for information.
Founder’s Day
TIFTON — Allen Temple African Methodist Episcopal Church, 1908 South Park Ave., will observe its Founder’s Day at 11 a.m. Feb. 23. The theme will be “Reigniting the Fire of our Forefathers and celebrationg our Spiritual Heritage.” The message will be delivered by the Rev. Tremayne Graydon, a Tifton native and son of the church.
Youth Summit Luncheon
TIFTON — Communion Christian Center youth  department will hold a youth summit luncheon at 12 noon. All youth are invited to attend. The theme will be "Love Who You Are!” For more information call Belinda Parks at 229-386-8543. The pastor is Apostle Tim Pratt.
Black History Program
TIFTON — Communion Christian Center will hold its black history program at 7 p.m. Feb. 26. The pastor is Apostle Tim Pratt.
TIFTON — Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2110 S. Park Ave., will celebrate its deacon and deaconess anniversary at 2 p.m. March 2. The Rev. Frankie Mathis and Travelers Missionary Baptist Church family will be in charge of the service. Dinner will served at 1 p.m. Beginning March 2, hours of service will change to Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and Worship Service at 11 a.m. The Rev. William D. Harvey Sr. is the pastor. BROOKFIELD — Corinth Freewill Baptist Church will hold its revival at 7 p.m. March 3-5 with Pastor Carl Morrison  will be the guest speaker. The pastor is Aaron Clanton.
