Even after arrests, burglary investigation continues

TIFTON — Two Tifton men were arrested Tuesday in connection with a recent burglary case.

Lt. Col. Bobby Brannen with the Tift County Sheriff’s Office said 20-year-old Anthony Michael Copeland and 21-year-old Kevin Rashad Dumas were both charged with first degree burglary of a residence on East Golden Road.

He said the burglary occurred between Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. Items valued at $1,753 were taken, which included electronics, video games and clothing.

The two offenders were also charged with theft by receiving stolen property in connection with the case.

Investigator Christi Brannon has been assigned this case.

Anyone with information or anyone who may have purchased some of the stolen items is asked to contact Brannon at the sheriff’s office at 388-6021.
