Police report for April 5

Crime briefs:

• Several vehicle break-ins have been recently reported in the city and county:

- A man who lives in the 1200 block of Tifton-Eldorado Road reported Wednesday that someone took items valued at $400 from his vehicle parked in his yard.

- A woman who lives in the 1100 block of Tifton-Eldorado Road reported Wednesday that someone entered three of her vehicles without permission.

- A man who lives in the 1000 block of Tifton-Eldorado Road reported Wednesday that someone entered his company work vehicle without permission.

- A couple who lives in the 2200 block of Wilson Avenue reported Tuesday that someone entered three of their vehicles, which were left unlocked. Nothing was taken.

- A man who lives in the 2400 block of Wilson Avenue reported Tuesday that someone stole a XBox 360 console and several cords from his vehicle.

- A woman who lives in the 2600 block of Wilson Avenue reported Tuesday that someone entered her three vehicles parked in her yard and took only change from the console. The report states that the doors were left unlocked.

- A woman who lives in the 300 block of Allisons Way reported Tuesday that someone entered her vehicle. She reported that her digital camera was missing. The report states that the doors were left unlocked.

- A woman who lives in the 2800 block of Central Avenue reported Tuesday that someone entered her vehicle and took approximately $10 in cash. The report states that the doors were left unlocked.

• A woman reported Tuesday that someone cut the copper ground wire off of the alarm siren pole located in the 2700 block of South Central Avenue. The damage is believed to be more than $1,000, the report states.

• A man reported Tuesday that someone shot at his John Deere excavator, breaking the back window and causing damage estimated at $1,000.

TIFT CO. SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Christopher B. Rockwood, 23, 109 Shorter St., Ty Ty, was charged Wednesday with two counts of cruelty to children in the third degree and battery (family violence).

Johnny Charles Stinton, 47, 210 Elm St., was charged Wednesday with obstruction or hindering law enforcement officers without force.

GEORGIA STATE PATROL

Lloyd Bozeman, 46, 3110 Fourth Ave., was charged Wednesday with DUI.

Sammie Kenyatta Walker, 34, 304 W. Washington St., Albany, was charged Wednesday with driving with a suspended or revoked license and driving without lights.
