Dorothy Clyde Register Eubanks

TIFTON — Dorothy Clyde Register Eubanks, 91, of Tifton died Friday, March 21, 2014, at Golden Living Center. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Oakridge Cemetery with Dr. W. Wayne Roe officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Eubanks was born March 26, 1922 in Rentz to the late Zonie Clayton Register and Julia Etoile Floyd Register. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William L. (Bill) Eubanks, who died Nov. 7, 2010; a son, William Danny Eubanks of Tifton; and a sister, Jean Tomlinson of Dublin. Mrs. Eubanks attended school in Laurens County and was an honor graduate and a member of the state championship basketball team. She was a longtime resident of Tifton and a member of the First Baptist Church. She was an artist and homemaker who enjoyed gardening, decorating, traveling and spending time with her family.

Mrs. Eubanks is survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Dottie Eubanks Ballard and Les of Jefferson and Judy Eubanks of Tifton; a sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and Sonny Crumpton of Warner Robins; a brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Evelyn Register of Macon; two granddaughters, Angela Crews of Jefferson and Lisa and David McIlwain of Buford; great-grandchildren, Tyler Kemp, Hunter Kemp, Dara Kemp and Kinsley Mcllwain of Buford; many nieces and nephews; and a family friend, Jill Peters of Tifton.

Special thanks to her companion and caregiver, Glenda Lane, and to Southern Care Hospice of Moultrie.
