Rants & Raves - April 2

TIFTON —

I want to thank Tift Regional Medical Center Nice Club for the private showing of "God's Not Dead" at Tifton's Carmike Cinema. The movie was wonderful.

I would like to thank the lady that was in front of me in the drive-thru at Zaxby's on Tift Avenue driving a late model black Honda Accord on March 28 who paid for my meal. When I got to the window to pay for my chicken sandwich, fries and drink, the cashier said the lady in front of me paid for my meal. I thought she was joking. She said she was serious and handed me the receipt. I only wish I knew who she was so I could tell her thank you! Please know that I appreciate it and sincerely thank you for being so kind.

I would like to thank the Tifton Fire Department for teaching fire safety to the Irwin County Pre-K.

Recently I was a patient at TRMC. Upon entering the ER Drs. Brannen and Smith correctly diagnosed my problem. The ER nurses were wonderful. I was admitted to the Surgical North second floor. My nurses were so compassionate and eager to help me. Drs. Fernandez and Featherstone are to be commended also. The sweet lady who takes the menu orders was extremely kind.

Two glorious community evenings last week: spiritual music in worshipful places. Thanks ABAC Arts Connection for Fisk Jubilee Singers and the venues in Shiloh Baptist and First Baptist churches. Cultural heritage that really matters.
