Betty June Lamarand Hnilo Pirkle

TIFTON — Betty June Lamarand Hnilo Pirkle, 79, of Tifton, died Sunday, March 23, 2014, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A private family service will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Pirkle was born May 22, 1934 in Trilby, Ohio to the late Wilford Columbus Lamarand and Eunice Christine Duetscher Lamarand. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Rudolph Joe Hnilo, second husband, Willis Pirkle, a son, Rudolph Hnilo Jr., and a sister, Joyce Schonfield.  Mrs. Pirkle moved to Tifton in 1991 from Michigan. She was a homemaker who loved her family, traveling, popcorn and old movies.

Also singing and helping others learn about the Bible. Mrs. Pirkle was a member of

The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1958.

Mrs. Pirkle is survived by two daughters, Trudy Perry of Redford, Mich. and Teri Johnson of Tifton; two sons, John Hnilo of Allen Park, Mich. and James Hnilo of Millersburg, Mich.; two sisters, Nancy Webb of Pell City, Ala. and Carol Lamarand of Aloha, Ore.; two brothers, Wilford Lamarand of Bull Head City, Ariz. and Tom Lamarand of Milan, Mich.; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
