Nancy Owens Newberry Selph

ROCHELLE — Nancy Owens Newberry Selph, 65, of Rochelle, passed away Thursday, March 6, 2014, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. today at the Sam Reid Owens Farm. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m., one hour before the service at the residence, 9516 Highway 233 N. in Rochelle.

The Rev. Wendy Hardin Hermann, Donna Bloodworth Stripling and the Rev. Ferris Hardin will officiate.

Interment will be at the family plot at the Morningside Cemetery.

Mrs. Selph was born on Jan. 15, 1949 in Macon. She was the daughter of the late Sam Reid Owens and Lola Mae Crosby Owens. She was a member of the First Avenue Baptist Church and was a self-employed insurance agent. She was also a member of the Dogwood Garden Club and the Ladies Bridge Group.

Survivors include her daughters, Niki Newberry (Jonathan) Coody of Tifton and Paige Newberry (Chad) Fulk of Macon; two grandchildren, Macaden Fulk and Halen Fulk; and husband, Donald Selph of Rochelle.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the First Avenue Baptist Church.
