Juanita Parks Malott

SYCAMORE — Services for Juanita Parks Malott, 81, of Sycamore will be held at noon Friday at Perry Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Malott died Monday, Jan. 6, 2014 at her residence following an extended illness. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. today at Perry funeral Chapel.

Mrs. Malott was born in Wolfe County, Ky. and had been a resident of Ashburn and Sycamore since 1973. She was a former Stanley Home Products distributor and employed at Tift Regional Medical Center. She enjoyed reading and gardening and loved to be with her family. She was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd G. Malott.

Survivors include her children, Larry (Sue) Malott of Ashburn, Scott (Stephanie) Malott of Sycamore, Sondra Seay of Springboro, Ohio, Sallie (Tommy) Nolte of Ashburn and Sherri (Tommy) Smith of Arabi; and her sister, Edith Mae Gentry of Martinez; nin grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Flowers will be accepted but for those who wish please make donations to Hospice of Tiftarea, Drawer 747, Tifton, GA 31794 or their favorite charity.
