Larry Register

WATERLOO — Larry Rudene Register, 68, of Waterloo died Thursday, July 26, 2012 in Irwin County. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Waterloo Baptist Church with Dr. Jeff Pangle and the Rev. Jack Perrin officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery in Chula. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Albritton-Beaumont Funeral Directors.

Steve Register, Chad Griffin, Arthur Perrin, Rob Bryan, Ronnie McCurdy, Dannie Phelps, J.W. Underwood, Kerry Gentry and Luke Bryant will serve as pallbearers.

Mr. Register was born on Oct. 3, 1943 in Irwin County to Franklin (W.F.) and Nellie Faye Gentry Register, both deceased. He was also preceded in death by a brother, O’Neal Register. He was a former self-employed farmer and truck driver for Tifton Aluminum and White Logging. He was a member of Waterloo Baptist Church.

Mr. Register is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Tony Ray of Fitzgerald; a grandson, Gregory Luke Bryant, a member of the U.S. Air Force stationed at Hurlburt Field, Fla.; a brother, Hollis Register of Irwin County; a sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Ken Williams of Tifton; a sister-in-law, Imogene Register of Irwin County; and several nieces and nephews.
