TGA’s Level 5 is No. 1 at Rose City Invitational

TIFTON — Last weekend was another big one for the Tift Gymnastics Academy. Competing in the Rose City Invitational last Saturday at Thomasville, the Level 5 team won 1st place, with every team member medaling in every event, as well as all-around.

Lauren Klofach took the all-around championship of the 11-and-up age group, winning 1st  on vault, uneven bars, balance beam and floor exercise. Emma Grace Bryan won 2nd place all-around in the 8-10 group and Grace Clements took 3rd place on the podium. Bryan won 2nd place on bars, beam and floor, and 3rd place on vault. Clements took 1st place on vault, bars, and floor and 3rd place on beam.

TGA’s Level 3 competed very well at the Rose City as well. Rebecca James won 2nd all-around in her age group and took 2nd place in bars, beam and floor. Courtney Harper did a great job in her first competitive gymnastics meet as a TGA athlete.

The TGA team will be in Athens this weekend at the Made in the USA Invitational.
