Construction to begin at Crum Road

TIFTON —

A traffic shift at U.S. 319 and Crum Road in Tift County will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday. Construction is expected to take about two weeks.

Southbound traffic on 319 will merge and be shifted to a lane on the northbound side of the highway. The southbound lanes will be closed to traffic.

Construction crews will be lowering the road to improve the line of sight for motorists and installing a turn lane.

Motorists should be prepared to slow down approaching and passing through the construction zone.
