Lila Creamer

MOULTRIE — Lila Creamer, of Tifton passed away peacefully Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2014. The family will receive friendsfrom 6 until 8 p.m. today at Albritton-Beaumont funeral Directors. There will be a private graveside service at Floral Memory Gardens in Albany.

Mrs. Creamer was born in Camilla to the late Lewis and Katie Helton McLendon. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Frank D. Creamer who died in 1988; four brothers, Marvin McLendon, John McLendon, Charlie McLendon and Frank McLendon; three sisters, Anna Laura McLendon Blackburn, Evelyn McLendon Hurst and Carolyn Cleo McLendon Shiver and one granddaughter, Trina Marie Creamer.

Mrs. Creamer was a homemaker and a member of New River Baptist Church in Tifton. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking, interior design, and collecting turn-of-the-century antiques.

Survivors include her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Robert Louis and Mary Ann Creamer of Albany and Dr. Larry Creamer of Tifton; two granddaughters, Patricia and her husband Steve Littleton, and Teresa Bevel, all of Albany; four great-grandchildren, Logan Littleton, Landon Littleton, Olivia Bevel and Dawson Reed Bevel and a special caregiver, Mary Ann Martin.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to Tiftarea Academy Capital Campaign, P.O. Box 10, Chula, GA 31733, Southern Care Hospice, 412 1st St., SE, Moultrie, GA 31768.
